Inspired by friendship, beauty – and one little curly-haired whirlwind.
The idea for Palace Paws, a luxury dog lounge in Vienna, was born on a warm summer evening in the gardens of Vienna’s Belvedere Palace. I was sitting there with my best friend Gesa, surrounded by baroque elegance and blooming flowers. As we soaked in the moment, I couldn’t help but wish our dog Cielo could be with us too.
That thought stayed with me, because it felt so natural — a beautiful setting should be shared with those we love, including our dogs.
That day, Cielo was in the loving care of my husband Christoph. She was just ten months old — a lively Lagotto pup, full of energy, curiosity, and undeniable charm. Cielo is not just a part of our family. In fact, she is one of the key inspirations behind Palace Paws and its vision of refined, gentle, and premium dog care in Vienna.
I’m Bianca – an Anglo-Austrian with a deep love for culture, animals, and special places. Together with Christoph from Northern Germany, we dreamt of creating a service that combines refined cultural experiences with responsible and thoughtful dog care.
Because we believe that care should reflect character — calm, elegant, and kind.
Palace Paws is for those who don’t want to leave their four-legged friends “just anywhere.” Instead, they want them to enjoy a space just as lovely as the one they’re visiting themselves. Our elegant dog lounge offers warmth, care, and calm. Moreover, it was designed for cultural travellers, Vienna lovers, and dogs who deserve a touch of quiet luxury.
After all, a love of culture and a love of dogs aren’t mutually exclusive. Quite the opposite — they belong together. And here in Vienna, they finally do.
