Inspired by friendship, beauty – and one little curly-haired whirlwind.
The idea for Palace Paws was born on a warm summer evening in the gardens of Vienna’s Belvedere Palace. I was sitting there with my best friend Gesa, surrounded by baroque elegance and blooming flowers. As we soaked in the moment, I couldn’t help but wish our dog Cielo could be with us too.
But that day, she was in the loving care of my husband Christoph – our lively Lagotto pup, just 10 months old at the time, full of energy, curiosity and undeniable charm. Cielo is not just a part of our family – she’s one of the key inspirations behind Palace Paws.
I’m Bianca – an Anglo-Austrian – with a deep love for culture, animals, and special places. Together with Christoph from North Germany, we dreamt of creating a service that combines refined cultural experiences with responsible, thoughtful dog care.
Palace Paws is for those who don’t want to leave their four-legged friends “just anywhere”, but who want them to enjoy a space just as lovely as the one they’re visiting themselves. Our elegant dog lounge is located just steps away from Vienna’s most iconic landmarks – a place of warmth, care, and calm.
Because a love of culture and a love of dogs aren’t mutually exclusive. Quite the opposite – they belong together.
